Session Descriptions

Teacher Talks
This one-hour session will feature four 12-minute presentations by teachers who have used Blended Learning Techniques and Digital Learning Objects in their classroom. After the four sessions, you will have an opportunity to have a Q&A with the presenters.

Speed Tech
Think "Speed Dating!" You stay put... The TSTs will rotate through and each give a 12-minute commercial on topics relating to Blended Learning and Digital Learning Objects. After the four presenters have rotated through, you will have an opportunity to have a hands-on session with one of these TSTs to learn more.

Un-Conference
Teachers involved in the "un-conference" session brainstorm some topics that they'd like to learn more about. Participants split into small groups to have a conversation around that topic. This is a chance to ask questions, and share expertise and experiences. The Un-Conference will be facilitated by a TST.

Work Time
After hearing from teacher and TST presenters, you may want some time to work independently or with your Professional Learning Community (PLC). The navigation bar on this website will take you to pages that have some screencasts to get you started. During the Work Time, there will also be TSTs available to assist you.

Thursday: Create a DLO
Friday: Put a lesson in the Lesson Database
*For credit, create 2 lessons in the Lessons Database - You can use DLO from Thursday
